Registration

Registration will take place on Friday August 6th. Please be prompt at 9:30 and plan on spending much of the day as per the schedule below. Before Registration day, you should download, print and fill out the registration paperwork found at the bottom of the schedule page on this website. You should also directly contact each tutor whose class you are interested in.
On Registration day you should bring the filled out paperwork, the $50 family registration fee, and the first month's payment and any supply or book fees for each class. Remember we will need your family doctor's name and phone number as well as the name and phone number of a non-parent emergency contact.

9:30 check in and finalize paperwork
10:00 Orientation. Followed by class enrollment.
12:00-1:00 lunch. Families will leave for lunch on their own.
1:00 run-through begins:
1:00-1:15 first period
1:15-1:30 second period
1:30-1:45 third period
1:45-2:00 forth period
2:00-2:15 fifth period
2:15-2:30 final period for those who missed a tutor earlier.



Rules for Logging Volunteer Hours

These instructions are posted with the volunteer sign-in book in the Narthex. All parent volunteers need to follow them in order to get credit for their hours worked.

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with how to fill out the Volunteer Log Book. Since volunteer hours are a required part of your children attending Friday School, it is important for you to make sure you are getting credit for all the hours you volunteer.

This year you do not have to list the date you volunteer. All dates for the year have been listed in the book for you. Please only list the TOTAL number of hours you volunteer for any given day, not the actual times you volunteered. If you know you will be volunteering in different positions throughout the day, wait until you start your last shift to list your hours. We only need the first position you volunteered in for the day listed if there is not room to list them all. You must have all your hours listed by 4:00pm to get credit for them. If there are no hours listed at 4:00pm on Friday a zero will be entered for that day. Please DO NOT list hours for weeks that have not occurred yet. You may only list hours for the current week.

At the end of each month a new spreadsheet will be printed and entered into the book. All hours that have been printed on the spreadsheet will be considered the final totals for that time frame. So please make sure you monitor your hours and do not forget to log them from week to week. These monthly totals will be used by the leadership to identify those that are running short on their volunteer hours.
