Senior Page In Yearbook

Seniors who want a page in the yearbook MUST bring
photos this week or email them to amber89@satx.rr.com

Please bring a short paragraph to go with the photos. Yearbook staff will help you write them Friday if you need help. If you need to look at a senior page, there are some old yearbooks in the control room.


Dual Credit at SAC

Enrollment for dual credit at SAC for homeschool students closes
Friday, May 9th. You must have your forms filled out, Accuplacer taken,
and transcript to Fabian Cortez by that date.  Forms are available at

We Need Your Pictures!

We need photos for the yearbook, senior bios and senior photos MAY 2 @ FRIDAYSCHOOL
Please contact Josh Coker or Chris Gerber. We need any candid shots you guys have taken of parties, dances, classes, plays, etc. email them to fridayschoolyearbook@gmail.com

We will also accept CD's and can scan prints.
Every senior who wants a page in THE BOOK will need to get us a set of photos and a bio. We will meet with each of you about page design, etc. If you have any questions, please contact Karen Gerber, Yearbook Advisor, at gerbersixpack@gvtc.com. Thank you for your help!

Volunteer Reminder:

Last month and last chance to get those mandatory hours in! We always hear excuses about not having them completed when we get to this time of the year. No excuses, it is part of the signed agreement for your child to attend Friday school. I suggest that you hurry to get them fulfilled so that your child may continue as a student next year. Prom Opened Up for AACE Students

Please check the posting about a prom that has been opened to our students. 
We have a flyer that will be located on the door next to the volunteer schedule.
The prom is May 24 at
Christ Fellowship Church.  All the “particulars” are
on the flyer.

Only A Few Weeks Left . . . Have You . . . ?

Have you checked with your student’s teachers?  Are they on target with their school work?  Now is the time to be checking as we only have 6 weeks left.
 Have you checked the “lost and found”. Anything left will be donated.

Lost IPODs

Lost ipods... Two ipods went missing from the Starbucks room last week. If you know where they are please let us know.


Parents!

Parents, please note your student’s attire as they leave home. Shorts need to be long enough that they come to at least mid thigh. Blouses need to have straps that are at least 2-3 inches wide. Please think of modesty...


Update on Trudy Palmer

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers!!

Mrs. Palmer is doing well, and she is now able to resume meeting with all her classes. All of Mrs. Palmer's classes will be meeting on Friday!

Please continue to pray for her complete healing and recovery!

A great big THANK YOU for all the help you give on Fridays!!! We appreciate so much all the volunteers who help set up, monitor during the day and clean up at the end. Please know that we are so grateful to you and we appreciate your great effort. Without you, it would be hard to carry on!!! Keep up the great work!!

Attention Parents: Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays.  Volunteer list was
e-mailed out so contact us if you did not receive it. March was added so that we can start filling it up too. Please remember to get all your MANDATORY hours in.This is the time to double check and make sure you are where you need to be on volunteer hours.  You don't want to wait until the last month to get those hours in, because you might not be able to get what you need.
